Mumbai Costal Road Project -1Priyadarshini Park to Baroda Palace consists of grade road and bridges including Navigation Bridge and reclamation. This package extends from CH 5+900 to CH 9+720 on main line and two major interchanges, namely Amarson Garden and Haji Ali interchanges, abutting existing shoreline roads and to allow free flow of traffic. The work includes construction of sea wall/breakwater wall with reclamation in intertidal zones. Facilitated and provided technical knowledge to the client i.e. MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai) for getting amendment / seeking new permissions / permit for the project. Such permissions were CRZ from MCZMA-MoEF&CC and permit for Coral translocation from PCCF forest Mangrove cell, and court matters. Planned, Co-ordinated & site assessments for the Environment protection / abatement measures with client (PMC/GC/MCGM) and other authorities (Govt.). Various Plans were prepared, got approval from client and implemented at site such as Site EMP, Waste management, Monsoon Plan & Hazardous Waste management Plan. Provided technical guidance & facilitated on environment monitoring, auditing and reporting mechanism, in consultation with client, & other third parties (laboratories). Developed strong working relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders such as SPCB, MCZMA, NIO, CMFRI, tree authorities & MoEF&CC. Ensured that key environmental management deliverables (monthly, quarterly, six monthly, environment Statement reports etc.) are provided within required timeframes. Ensured that environmental risks are appropriately identified, communicated and effectively managed. Coordinated investigation and responded to environmental complaints and inquiries. Implemented Bio-Diversity conservation Plan at site and monitoring report are submitted on time.

These guidelines include, but not limited to, Wetland as treatment facility, Waste management Plan, Rainwater harvesting, Environment Management Plan, topsoil preservation, and consent to operate etc. Trained new employees in a supervisory capacity to take over similar projects and aid company expansion, including Toolbox talk, Induction Training, Work permit systems and Capacity building. Prepared and got approval on SHE & Environment management plan for site. Perform drafting according to specifications; ensured compliance with all project Environment Health Safety and waste management (includes Hazardous, chemical, municipal and Construction & Demolition waste) procedures and requirements such as ISO 14001 (Environment Management System), OHSAS 18001 and DMRC requirement. Designed & Developed the Drainage system of Casting Yard and Batching plant and hazardous waste storage arrangement at Project.
