My name is Nitin. In Abbotsford, at the University of the Fraser Valley, I am a foreign student majoring in business administration. As of right now, I'm employed with The Bay in Abbotsford as a customer service agent. At The Bay, I developed crucial retail and customer service skills. Being a cashier at many places of employment has given me some experience in the field. The cashier and team member positions at Tim Hortons were my first positions. I was hired as the store manager at an Itech Studio mobile store in downtown Abbotsford after three months of employment at Tim Hortons. I was able to pick up skills for accounting, keeping track of daily sales, and doing point-of-sale duties at Itech Studio.Additionally, I gained knowledge about inventory control, receiving items, and retail administration, as well as how to boost sales. Because of my education in accounting and business, I have frequently applied the skills I acquired in class at work. On the eduction front, I had a 3.55+ GPA throughout every semester of my academic career. In a marketing course I took my team's project involved analysing Bed Bath and Beyond's lowest-performing product and figuring out how to boost sales of that item. The project was well received by the company, and my team received a passing grade. I have participated for social work in an well-known organisation that works for the social welfare of society, National Social Scheme, in Chandigarh, India. I worked as a social worker with the organisation for over two years, during which time I received accreditation for being a valuable employee and consistently assisting NSS. Due to my involvement in the National Social Scheme's activities, I obtained an A+ grade.
