•Part of team maintaining 1500+ servers.•SME for GCT portfolio•Completed cost saving projects like : Migration of data base servers from Aix 6.1 to Redhat 6.4 Migration of Linux standalone servers to VMwareMigrating data from SAN to NAS•Aix to Linux migration -- Installed and configured 30+ Redhat5.9 & Redhat6.4 servers for P2P project. All Redhat6.4 servers are 3 pair RAC clusters. It has dedicated EMC symmetric SAN with SRDF/BCV for backup. We used 10 GB dedicated fiber network card to transfer 14Tb of data from Aix to Linux. •Successfully completed migrating 45+ Aix servers from P5 frame to P7 frame. Upgraded the servers from Aix 5.3 to Aix 6.1 using new P7 hardware.•Installed and configured 6 VIOC using Aix 6.1 on P6 frame using VIOS 2.1•Successfully build 50+ Redhat 5 servers with VCS 5.0 for GENESIS project. All production/cob servers has SRDF/BCV storage. •Configured 14 servers for Citi Basel run. That includes Redhat6.3, VCS 5.1 four node clusters & AIX 6.1 standalone servers. Oracle 11g was used as database, total 20TB of data.•As Redhat 4.8 was EOL, I suggested PST application team to upgrade servers from Redhat 4.8 to Redhat6. We decided to use same hardware and keeping san data intact. I managed project from start to beginning. It had 8 standalone servers. •Developed Aix build check script. The script used to check for root disk mirroring, ether channel, redundancy for scsi cards for disk and network, system tuning parameters, installed package check, etc. •Build 30+ aix 5.3 VIOC using NIM server. •Migrated standalone servers (domains) from Solaris 8 to Solaris 10 local zones, using new hardware E25K frames.•Upgraded three E10K frames to E15K frames and the domains on the frames to Solaris 8 release 10. Each frame had 8 domains (servers) on it. Completed the activity in given time line of 5 months.•Upgraded Enterprise servers from Solaris 2.6 to Solaris 2.8 along with VERITAS.

• Part of team maintaining Production servers with Solaris 2.6, 2.8, and Linux 7.3 & 9 hardware ranging from E3800, E3500, 420R, 220R U60.• Installed Disk arrays A1000, D1000 and A5000 with veritas Volume Manager V3.1.1,And Disk Suite.• Maintaining servers in Veritas Cluster environment.• Installed and configured web servers with Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5.1--Web logic and Apache 1.3.6--Web sphere 4.X combination. • Using VERITAS Net backup V3.4 for backups along with SILO Tape units.• Writing scripts for monitoring error logs for applications and system maintenance.• Installed and configured SSH.
