Studied liquid sloshing dynamics in LNG tankers under laboratory conditions. The project was funded by Chevron. Partial filling of tankers is a major design consideration for LNG shipping. Developed predictive analytical models considering unique characteristics of LNG such as low temperature and compressibility of entrapped gas to improve the structural integrity of the tankers.
