Undertake Continuous Monitoring activity to assess key risks in Finance Auditable EntityFormulate a Half Yearly Risk Based Finance Audit plan in consultation with Chief Auditors and submit to Audit committee for approval.Plan and deliver timely and effective standard audit with global audit team to cover principal risks including credit, treasury and capital, tax, financial reporting, information, fraud, supplier, payments,transaction operations, regulation, fin crime risk to provide an independent assurance over Capital Markets, Corporate and Investment Bank audit universe.Champion audit methodology to quality execution.Plan and deliver Targeted review for Low Risk Nodes.Communicate and deal with senior management within the auditee groups of the Front end, Middle office and Back office functions in relation to the audits.Actively attend and present audit progress to various organisational and governance committees Lead & guide a team of auditors.Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.Follow up and issue validation.

Provide strategic insight to management during wind down/sell down of non core business and allocate restructuring budgets to maximize future returns.Provide analytical support to segregate core and non-core portfolios for “Go to Bank”, and allocation of Fixed and Variable costs to Corporate and Investment Banking clusters.Liaise with various departments like Technology, Operations, Credit, HR, Legal & Front end to assist the business in profitability analysis.Coordinate monthly cost review with business COOs in order to inform them of any cost related issues Assist in the yearly budget process by working closely with COOs to develop a transparent cost picture to measure the business against plan.

Drive and Integrate Financial Budgeting & Business Planning towards creating a central and integrated business process, in the context of the current environment enable leadership to view the corporate impact of plan changes at the business unit level. Develop and monitor various performance & productivity metrics, identify potential growth areas and review.Analyze monthly results and identify trends across entities, product and segments, variances and potential performance opportunities and/or concerns and raising red flags if any. Responsible for monthly management, financials reporting and direct infrastructure review i.e. Collections, Operations etc. of India business with senior management in India and UK to build cost efficiency.Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement.Participate in a wide variety of special restructuring projects and evaluate new business sopportunities to improve business profitability.Support wind down/sell down of non core business by providing strategic financial insights.
