As the overseer of more than 50 intricate vessels belonging to Maersk, my responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing daily and monthly performance reports to identify areas of optimization. I then implement solutions to ensure that organizational decarbonization objectives are met. I work with Vessel Managers and internal Technology teams to address issues that affect the fuel and energy optimization of ships. I am also responsible for managing projects from beginning to end while offering expert guidance to global teams. To define short-term and long-term goals for retrofits, upgrades, I conduct data-driven business studies. Additionally, I provide insights on the value creation and losses associated with various projects, such as the impact of fuel quality on engine efficiency. I have led the development process of several platforms such as Star Connect, which improves daily monitoring and optimizes the performance of vessels. I oversee the testing of these platforms to ensure their effectiveness in monitoring vessel performance. I identify potential opportunities for improvement within the fleet and set KPIs for the fleet independently. I make decisions based on the results of underwater inspection reports to improve the hull condition of vessels and reduce overall fuel consumption. . I also represent the Performance Department in various forums within the organization such as the development of Star Connect platforms, various optimization projects , Fleet Technology. Lastly, I provide reviews of the overall health condition of vessels to the chartering desk or portfolio managers, enabling them to make informed decisions.

As a Fleet superintendent of 6 vessels, managed daily operation of the vessel, including daily running cost of the vessels, approving budgets for these vessels, planning major overhaul of the various machineries of the vessels, as well successful planning, preparation as well as execution of the vessel drydock along with various projects ongoing on the vesselsAs a Fleet Superintendent with experience managing the daily operations of a fleet of six vessels. In this role, I have been responsible for overseeing all aspects of vessel operations, including monitoring, and controlling daily running costs, approving budgets for maintenance and repair work, and planning and executing major overhauls of various ship machinery.In addition to these responsibilities, I have also successfully planned, prepared, and executed the dry docking of these vessels, as well as managing ongoing projects related to the improvement of vessel performance and safety.Through my years of experience in this role, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities involved in managing a fleet of vessels. I have worked closely with classification societies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
