My core competency is to create digital audio video content that communicates a story, as I firmly believe that every communication is a story waiting to be told!My professional career currently spans more than twenty-six years. This includes more than twenty years as a Cinematographer and Independent Producer and I have donned the Director's hat occasionally as well.As a filmmaker, my first independent project was a music video for Lucky Ali & Kavita Krishnamurthy, which I shot & directed. It stayed on the charts at second spot for the major part of 2001, only to be trumped by Adnan Sami & Aditi Govitrikar.I went on to cinematograph, co- produce & release a film independently titled “99.9FM…..Nothing is 100%” in the year 2005. In 2007, I shot another film, Missed Call" that was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival & also the Opening Film of IFFI,2007 Goa of the Indian Panorama Section. I have shot as Director of Photography for producers like Yash Raj Films & Balaji Telefilms. I have worked as an Independent Producer on several key projects and also produced and directed a show for National Geographic India. I have shot underwater, at thirty thousand feet, created films in a wide range of situations and worked with some of the top names in the Indian film industry.
