Oversaw business operations and management of 8 clusters, a newly acquired Taiwanese company and a Solutions JV in India, across Asia Pacific, Oceania, Middle East & Africa region. As a member of the Group Executive Committee, helped define & contribute to the company’s long-term strategy and key decisions for the future growth of the organization. I managed a large global team.One of my key areas of focus was repositioning of local business operations and profit generation within the G China, India, Japan, Middle-East, ASEAN and Oceania territories through acquisition of distributors & local partners, creation of new full-scale subsidiaries and integration of operations, management of multiple channel & retail partners, controlling the strategy in each country. As MD of the plant, responsible for overall operations of the only Asian plant in the Group and manage relations with our local JV partner.- JV+ M&A (Malaysia): Ensured timely acquisition of shares from JV partner with Malaysian plant operations. - Capacity Expansion: Oversaw the successful completion of the capacity expansion project - Structured the plant organization & operations for smooth running, managing racially mixed workforce, introduction of new product, quality enhancement, safety, and supply chain and reduction in safety incidents and quality rejections.

Company then owned by Private Equity (under LBO), now part of Kingspan Group. Global leader in light weight roofing across 45 countries.Hired to lead business operations and oversee P/L, legal, finance, logistics and production for the APAC region. Directly managed a multinational team and the Malaysian plant facility. Reporting directly to the CEO + Key Member of the Group Executive Committee. Served as Board Member across all local companies in Asia.- Generated significant revenue, volume increase and profitability from loss to a 20%+ EBITDA level.- Legal Entities setup: Expanded operations across China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam by managing multiple acquisitions by creating a blueprint on how, when and what type of legal setup needed.- Setup Channel & Retail structures & created a Retail Strategy for Modern Trade (DIY) channel… a first in the roofing business in Indonesia/ Philippines.- Defined & Executed the Global & Regional Specification Strategy & approach- Developed blueprint for development of different Touch Points for the brand.- Revamped China operations and multiplied revenues by 8 times and converted loss making operations to one of the top 3 profitable subsidiaries of the Group - Indonesia: Developed & grew Indonesia to the extent that the company is now creating a local manufacturing unit.- M&A: In Vietnam & Malaysia - Conceived and developed the first interactive Mobile Roof Design App

France/ Singapore

Coming on board with the firm Impetus Consulting (previous name of Powering), a consulting firm specializing in sales strategy and development of multi-channels. Impetus was part of CPM Worldwide, a worldwide field marketing agency, which itself is a Omnicom Group company. The company later became independent and launched Powering. I established and scaled the Asia Pacific regional consulting business focused on sales, distribution and retail management. - Achieved breakeven within 12 months by creating a network of associates across multiple countries and expanding target and product categories across untapped markets.- Worked on specific projects for Retail Management & Execution for some clients

France

$1.5B+ Global Home Automation market leader Somfy is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of controls and drives for access systems, entrance gates, garage doors, venetian blinds and awnings. Initially hired as part of the global marketing department to oversee the Global Distribution & Retail Expert systems within multiple countries, I was recognised as Executive Partner and tapped to be groomed as a future leader by the COO.- Developed and implement an International Sales Methodology Project, updating sales techniques and practices and training employees across the regions of Asia, US and Europe.- Analyzed P/L across all regions and documented key points to review during budget & monthly discussions with Regional MDs. - Established a centralized system of existing market presence to globally understand competition advantages and strategies.

India

India’s largest dairy/ food products’ marketing organization with then an annual revenue of over USD 2 billion (now 8$B+ in revenues).As Business & Marketing Head: Managed Retailing Operations (QSRs)-Chain of ‘Utterly Delicious’ Take-Away Food Parlors & ‘two brands’ in different Product categories. Led a team of 30 officers (with 4 Product Managers) & 100 indirect reports. Product Management - Brands ‘Dhara’ & ’Amul Shakti’- Handled the entire portfolio of ‘Dhara’ Edible Oils (around 120 M€ ) contributing 10% to total turnover. - Affected a turnaround in ‘Dhara’ with a double-digit growth rate after a gap of 3 years. The brand rated as the fourth fastest growing FMCG brand. - Successfully launched a new variant in edible oil & achieved a market share of 10% in 6 months. - Developed a strategic marketing plan for a new product in the health beverage category (category dominated by MNCs) & achieved a M Share of 10% in the first three months itself.Retailing Operations (QSR)- Set up 50 Food Parlors (direct and exclusive retailing of the company’s range of products). - Developed ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ for the retailing operations- Initiated and developed a project with International Organization for Migration, which became a model of study for other NGOs and companies.

Kansai Nerolac is the 2nd largest paint company in India with annual revenues of over USD 900 Million.Managed the region as a Profit Centre and handled ‘Retail Channel’ sales. Led a team of 45 people comprising 4 Branch Managers (for different sales locations) and their team. Was the youngest Regional Manager in the company.- Achieved the best profit contribution: only company in the region to achieve a double-digit growth rate. - Created Exclusive High end Colour Consultant Stores: Color Tinting Machine management–led the way for the system being replicated across the company. - Centralized promotional initiatives & displays to bring in uniformity of activities-cost reduction by 15%.
