Dream Plast is a subsidiary of the Sunino Group from Italy. It is into plastic injection technology for food packaging industry. The group is more than 50 years old and has a rich history of being amongst the preferred suppliers of prestigious customers such as Ferrero, IMC Toys, Artzana, Mattel, Fisher Price etc. The company specializes in creating infrastructure and quality (its USP!) that are extremely important for the Food packaging and Toys industry. A lot of emphasis is paid on Factory & Personal hygiene and maintaining close to clean-room-conditions.Dream Plast was incorporated in Pune (India) in 2010. It grew tremendously, setting up 1 factory every year (by 2017 the number was 7 factories). The Company has now consolidated into 3 large factories - all located in & around Pune with a total built-up space of over 25,000 sqm.Dream Plast currently produces Plastic Promotional Toys, Dolls, Games & Puzzles, Rattles, Bath Toys and several other items, with a daily capacity of 1 million Promotional Toys (~ 5 million injected pieces) and 7000+ Dolls. This high volume is achieved with the help of lean manufacturing and in-house man-machine-material strengths. The Company has several injection molding machines, roto molding machines, pad-printing, ultrasonic welding, hair rooting, spray painting etc. It employs more than 1500 people. Responsible for Business Development of the Special Purpose Vehicle unit of the group. Worked on specific projects related to the Diversification - through market studies, preparation of business plan, discussions on joint venture / collaboration etc.

Was responsible for the creation of the Indian subsidiary of the Group Happich Ellamp, headquartered at Varese (Italy). Later went on to manage the subsidiary and supported the formation of its joint venture with an Indian partner. GHE is the market leader in components & systems for commercial vehicles (especially buses).

Comau India is a 100% subsidiary of Comau SpA (a FIAT Group company). I was with Comau since the inception of its Indian subsidiary. Gained enormous experience both in Italy as well as India and was instrumental in the growth of the company over the years. Was heading both the Marketing & Program Management departments.

Was part of a batch of 42 people selected through an India-wide recruitment process by the FIAT Group, for the India program of its 7 major group companies. Went through training in Italy for about an year on management as well as industrial experience in various FIAT group companies.
