I have had the privilege of working in diverse roles across corporate, government, education, and social sectors over the past two decades. My journey has allowed me to contribute to policy development at both state and central levels, while supporting economic growth and social development.Currently, I am Chairman of the Advisory Council and Mentor at the Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT), Delhi. I served as MAIT’s President from 2017 to 2022 and as President Emeritus from 2022 to 2024, where I focused on transforming the organization and fostering industry advancements. I have been a part of the National Executive Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and ASSOCHAM, contributing to the country’s economic policies.My leadership roles span various sectors, including my current position as Director at Synegra EMS Limited, EP Biocomposites Ltd., and Advani Hotels and Resorts (India) Ltd. I co-founded Attort Legal Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. and EPIC (Electronic Products Innovation Consortium) in Bangalore, where we focus on promoting innovation and design-led growth in India. I also established the Vibrant Goa Foundation, which hosted one of Goa’s largest trade and commerce events in 2018.During my tenure as Vice Chairman of EDC Ltd. (2005-2012), I led a transformation that turned the organization from a loss-making entity to a profit-making one by implementing ERP systems and other strategic initiatives. I served as Director of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (2001-2009), contributing to industrial policies and growth.In education, I have served as President of Vidya Vikas Mandal, managing five institutions, including G.R. Kare College of Law and Vidhya Vikas Academy. I was on the Board of Governors for IIT Goa and served on the boards of Goa Engineering College and the Goa Institute of Management. I believe education is key to progress and strive to improve it through continuous engagement.I have been recognized with awards such as the Distinguished Leadership Award from the Institute of Engineering & Management, the National Business Leadership Award from the Economic Growth Society of India, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Incredible Goa. On a personal note, I stay connected to my Goan roots. I find joy in spending time with my family over a simple meal of fish curry rice. My wife, Roopa, is an architect and founder of Goa Décor, and our children, Aashna and Ronit, are my biggest support system. My family, friends, and the blessings of my Goddess Kamaksha are my sources of strength
