I am interested in designing and implementing social impact business models and strategies. Currently, I am part of The/Nudge social entrepreneurship team where we partner with not-profit start-ups in their product market fit and scale journey.Previously I have implemented financial Inclusion projects in India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.At Bharti AXA Life Insurance, I was leading the emerging customer (Inclusive insurance) portfolio. As part of the partnership team, I onboarded Fincare Small Finance Bank and the microfinance business of Utkarsh Small Finance Bank as Bharti AXA Life's bank partners. Onboarding involved integrating MIS, Finance, and technical systems. Recruiting and training the insurance sales force spread across 40plus branches.I have managed a year-long project with largest the MicroFinance Institution(MFI) in Myanmar. As part of the project, I helped local MFIs, spread across Myanmar, in building their strategy and governance systems. And I had the chance to work with local leaders and assist them in forming microfinance boards and social performance processes.Another project I did was with a Cambodian Microfinance institution. MFI was changing its products and target market segment. My team assisted the board in redesigning its theory of change(ToC). We developed a new social performance tracking system to implement ToC and measure the social impact of MFIs products and services on low-income clients. The system used data from MIS and client feedback as input and had a social performance dashboard as an output I have also worked with an Ethiopian Fintech in Addis and helped them in developing a business case for selling satellite image-based crop insurance products to farmers. The project pioneered the use of satellite images as an index to measure insurance claims for farmers.
