Technical Project Manager for the Operations Decision Support System (ODSS) project at the South Florida Water Management District. As a Solution Architect provided project management and technical guidance/expertise for architecture, design & development, upgrade, performance testing, capacity planning and problem resolution at various customers.Some of these engagements included architectural assessment, capacity planning and change recommendations to address specific customer problems or as a part of a larger Enterprise Infrastructure Review, which included people and process review as well. Helped develop Integration Center of Excellence (COE) at various customers. This required creation of application integration roadmap, establish application development best practices and processes, create a knowledge repository, define roles and responsibilities for COE team members, alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives etc Provided upgrade guidance to customers planning webMethods software upgrade in the form of project planning, architecture and resource staffing. These assessments included simple upgrades lasting a few weeks to complex upgrades lasting a few months. As a Manager, managed the complete lifecycle of software solution from pre-sales, requirements, architecture & design, development, testing, production rollout and post-production support. Worked with Sales, Product Development and Customer Support teams within webMethods for successful customer solution deployments which included cross team co-ordination, issue resolution, escalations and customer follow ups.Managed a team of nine consultants plus contractors. Set and tracked Goals & Objectives (G&Os) for each consultant regarding utilization, project assignment, career development and training. Worked on scoping projects, creating Statement of Work (SOW), staffing projects with appropriate skilled consultants. Actively participated in recruiting with candidate selection and interviewing.

During tenure at Motorola worked in three different departments as below:- Promoted to be a Manager after a year as a Lead Software Engineer in the Radio Products Group. Worked closely with marketing and strategy teams on segmentation, branding and strategy. Lead redesigning part of the motorola.com internet web site as a project manager. Evaluated various content management and marketing automation tools. - Webmaster of a secure extranet site used for an efficient warranty repair communication with the Motorola dealer network. Programming done with Java, Web-Builder, UNIX shell scripts, SQL and PERL. Also worked as Oracle DBA and UNIX system administrator. - Worked as a Consultant on behalf of the Computer Horizons Corp. for the first six months, and then was hired as an employee at the Systems Support Center. Developed enhancements and corrections to two-way radio data communication network software. Designed and developed Network Management application using HP OpenView.

Coherent Systems was a startup R&D company that designed products for the cardiac physician/patient market. Developed embedded real-time software/hardware for a trans-telephonic ECG monitoring device.
