Job Profile: • Reporting to the Manager and handling a team of 20 company employees and 90 contractual workers.• Overall responsibility of the shift for manufacturing ribbon shells (A high speed machine capable of producing 1000 shells per minute, supplying glass shells for lighting industries).• Responsible for safe conduct of all operations on the shop-floor. • Meting daily production and quality targets. • Through Production Planning & Control, identify and plan resources (manpower, spare parts, consumables) for day-to-day operations and shut downs. • Responsible for continuous quality improvement, cycle time reduction, improvement projects • Keeping continuous integration with mould room activities.• Conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective actions to minimise BD cost & to improve quality of product and maintain work with the help of 5W-1H systems.• Responsible for maintenance of ribbon machine during mould change and model change.• Strictly following the activities contained in the ISO procedure manual and maintaining all documents as per the ISO procedure manual• Implementing environment standard ISO-14001 to improve working system. • Coordinating with quality dept for process improvement. • Coordinating with logistics/marketing for overseeing timely supply of goods in accordance with dispatch schedules. • Coordinating with various departments like stores and purchase to improve operational efficiency.• Training subordinates on process approach.• Active involvement with vendors & fabricators for process/product improvement. • Holding technical discussions with sister concern on day to day improvement activities & technical knowledge exchange for better process control.• Worked in the rebuilt of the furnce ( Completed project of – Furnace capacity increased by 20% within the schedule time of 45 days )• Training and supervising shift work force and drawing out time schedules for them

• Reported to the executive and handled a team of 6 company employees and 4 contractual workers.• Worked under project management team, involved in fabrication, erection & commissioning of the electric furnace according to the design specifications• Worked on line diagram for pipeline work for LPG, air compressor line, and cooling water line services.• Completed planning of activities on daily basis. • Handled activities in Production Dept., post project completion, shift production as per production schedules and co-ordination with engineers & supervisors; reported to Production Manager-Works.

Company Profile : MLC is a glass tubing-manufacturing unit having 2 furnaces of Tiesen make (oil fired) running in parallel. The process is fully automated with microprocessor based control systems with the technical know-how from M/S Glass Bulbs Ltd., England. Job Responsibilities: Actively involved in installing & commissioning of new lead glass tubing furnace & assembly. Involved in process monitoring, control & production planning for the manufacture of lead glass tubing & shift supervision to achieve target production
