To install & Maintain RTU at Indian Railway SP(sectioning post) ,SSP(sub - sectioning & paralleling post) and TSS ( traction substation ) that operates circuit breaker which is used to supply 25 KV power to OHE ( overhead equipment ) systems. RTU is connected to SCADA server situated in Remote Control Center ( RCC ) at DRM OFFICE , RTU at substation takes the Parameters like Voltages , Currents ,Power factor, etc. and gives these data to SCADA server so, SCADA is also used for Monitors Voltages, Currents, Active power, Reactive power, Apparent power.The Communication between RTU & SCADA server is based on IEC 104, IEC 103 & SPORT ( special provision for railway traction ) Protocols which is connected through a Network consists of Lan Extender ,E1-ETH Converter, STM (synchronous transport module).My job is to maintain, run & troubleshooting of Scada communication failures as well as to Design and Modify SCADA MMI as per user requirements.
