With over 6 years of hands-on experience in the rolling stock industry, I have had the privilege of contributing to the advancement of locomotive technology with renowned organizations like GE and Alstom.My journey began in 2018 when I embarked on my professional career at GE after completing my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. As a Junior Engineer at GE, I immersed myself in various facets of locomotive engineering, gaining proficiency in locomotive assembly, Drawing retrieval system (DRS), pneumatic schematics, shimming, locomotive bogie connection, and a range of soft skills including reliability, Oracle, and Microsoft Office suite.During my tenure at GE, I had the opportunity to work on India's most powerful diesel locomotives, the WDG6G and WDG4G series, where I honed my skills and expertise in locomotive engineering.In 2020, I transitioned to Alstom as a Production Associate Engineer, where I took on the responsibility of troubleshooting design issues for the Plan A locomotive. My role evolved to encompass bogie and traction motor assembly and testing, where I gained invaluable experience in load testing, motor testing, wheel pressing, different types of bearings, torquing, gluing, team leadership, time reconciliation, AOS, DELMIA APRISO, lean implementation, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), 7QC tools, CMMS, crimping, and piping.Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.
