I'm a mental health consultant based in Lucknow, honored to be named among India's top doctors in 2024 by Mid-day.com for my work in mental health. My journey in neuropsychology is driven by a passion for research and a commitment to effective treatment through psychological counseling, psychotherapy, and lifestyle medicine.Currently, I serve as a psychologist with the Indian Air Force and as a consultant with Apollo Clinic and other healthcare organizations in Lucknow. I aim to provide impactful treatment often within 2 to 3 sessions, making a positive difference in my patients' lives more swiftly than traditional psychotherapies.Primarily a Neuro-Psychologist, an international member of the American Psychological Association, I pursued further education through an international fellowship in Clinical Psychiatry and postgraduate diplomas in Naturopathy and Nutrition. I believe in continuous learning and have completed numerous certification courses from esteemed universities worldwide. During my fellowship, our core psychiatry course was taught by Dr. Helen M. Farrell, former faculty of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, along with other eminent professors.I am passionate about teaching and have the honour to deliver guest lectures on neuropsychology at Lucknow University. Additionally, I run the ISO-certified "Institute of Mental Health & Cognitive Sciences" and also volunteer with several non-profits and NGOs to support the mental health of marginalized communities.Throughout my career, I have been humbled by recognitions such as a medal and recommendation from the Indian Air Force and appreciation from Apollo Clinic. As a TEDx speaker and internationally published author, I aim to share my insights and contribute to the mental health dialogue.My approach to mental health is holistic, focusing on psychological therapy and lifestyle changes to promote overall well-being. I believe in empathy, active listening, and tailored treatment plans to address each individual's unique needs. Collaboration is vital in my practice. I regularly work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for my patients.In addition to my clinical and teaching roles, I am actively involved in research. My studies focus on understanding the intricate connections between the brain and behavior, aiming to develop innovative therapeutic techniques. I regularly publish my findings, theories and models in reputed international scientific journals, contributing to the global body of knowledge in neuropsychology.
