Created a communication platform for Samsung devices which enables application experiences to extend across multiple Samsung hardware and software products (Mobile to TV/Speaker/Refrigerator…). Architected and implemented the Node.js service embedded in Samsung SmartTV’s firmware and the corresponding backend cloud services which enhance device discovery and facilitate cloud connectivity in a wide range of network use cases (WiFi/4G/WiDi/BLE/Android/iOS/Web). Built and managed the AWS environment on which all platform cloud services are hosted. Managed all code deployments and API releases.

Architected and implemented cloud services enabling cloud connectivity to SmartTV applications from mobile devices and web browsers across SmartTV manufacturers (Samsung/LG/Toshiba/GoogleTV/Opera/Dish Network) using Node.js. Built and managed the cloud infrastructure supporting device discovery and connectivity across all platform services. Managed all code deployments and API releases.

Provided site and application hosting for fortune 500 clients (Verizon Wireless/UPS/Fox/Home Depot) supporting high traffic e-commerce and global marketing campaigns. Collaborated with clients at every phase of projects from planning and design to execution and maintenance. Lead multiple teams including hosting, release management, and corporate technology for singular project goals. Designed and built out redundant data centers to deploy large scale hosting environments built on application server virtualization using VMWare, storage virtualization using a custom implementation of ZFS, and Cisco network backbone. Created disaster recovery plans and processes. Responsible for network and information security companywide, meeting both corporate and client requirements/audits for corporate infrastructure, application security, network security and data warehousing of customer information.
