Speech Pathology Australia is the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia. Speech pathologists are university trained allied health professionals with expertise in the assessment and treatment of communication and/or swallowing needs.My role is responsible for managing the Association’s core member service functions with a portfolio of 14,000+ members by providing strategic direction and oversight of membership functions, including strategies for growth, retention, and engagement.As the national operations I am leading an organisational digital transformation with over 10 major strategic transformation projects to strengthen the digital capabilities of the organisation.

Identifying a gap in the market for individuals and businesses to find local markets led me to develop the online hub Markets and Community. Since it’s conception the hub has grown from a listing of 20 markets and 10 businesses to over 200 markets and 60 business.I have also grown the business to include consulting services to support local small business owners in their business development and digital marketing strategies. The ABA is a not for profit, community organisation that supports, educates and advocates for a breastfeeding inclusive society.
