Nitu Joshi is a Business and Social Entrepreneur who started her career in Film Making, Jewellery & Fashion Design and has extensively worked as a socially conscious entrepreneur, activist and ground level worker across several human and environmental causes.As a film maker she has co-produced films and TVSerials such as Vaastav and several Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi serials.

Nitu Joshi has been a leading contemporary styles designer in the fashion accessories and jewellery design space. She has designed several modern fashion accessories, conventional and contemporary jewellery pieces, conducting nationwide jewellery roadshows, expos and haute couture displays.She has been a leading fashion and jewellery designer for leading film, television and social celebrities, personalities, ad films and costume drama projects. She has worked with the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Namrata Shirodkar (Mrs. Mahesh Babu), Jackie Shroff, Bhagyashree, Geeta Kapur (Leading Choreographer), and many others.

From producer –From almost a decade I had an aspiration to help the society. When I come to know about the baachadaa tribe and there tradition that was been followed from an primordial time which said, their first daughter has to become a prostitute and earn for its family. This spitefulness has now turned into a business because almost all the daughters in the family are being made prostitutes and are being hassled by their own family. This malice has touched my heart and forced me to make a film on it so that I could depict their crime behind their tradition and share it with the world. My first feature film Bhunsaara means the first light to reach the surface and a beginning of a new day.
