Release Manager
Current- Coordinating and executing application releases across multiple environments (staging, production, etc.)- Developing and overseeing the overall regression testing strategy to ensure that critical features are retested after every release or patch.- Collaborating with development, QA, and product teams to plan release timelinesEnsuring critical bugs or incidents are prioritized, monitored, and resolved in a timely manner.- Identifying and maintaining a comprehensive suite of test cases for regression testing, ensuring coverage of all critical and high-impact areas of the application.- Defining, tracking, and reporting key quality metrics like defect density, test coverage, and overall product quality to stakeholders.- Driving the test automation efforts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort, ensuring automation is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.- Regularly evaluating and optimizing QA processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and product quality.- Ensuring that the end product meets customer expectations and provides a seamless user experience, especially focusing on post-release performance and feedback.- Defining and managing rollback procedures if issues arise during or after deployment.Working with DevOps to maintain pipelines, ensuring they are updated to meet the release requirements.- Documenting test plans, release plans, procedures, and key details to ensure traceability.Coordinate bug triage sessions and ensure critical issues are escalated as needed.
