To build strategy and workflow for streamlining process for Derivative business (EMEA, NA, LATAM)• Data Analysis, Risk & Control management• Status reporting- Core team & Senior management• Report & Reconciliation, review general ledger & performing adjustments• Driving and delivering process change• Design & maintain a robust control framework & escalating risk where necessary• Liaising with projects and tech teams to ensure project run to schedule• Weekly MIS update & send MTD breaks explaining root cause• Ensure no breaks cross 30 day age bucket• Effectively manage business partners and stakeholders and increase credibility• Handling and ensuring successful process migration from various locations (EMEA, NA, LATAM)• Supporting Audit functions for realised activities in Derivatives• Monitor and escalate unusual activity on ledger side with root cause to senior management• Responsible for posting Nostro to PNL recall entries as and when required• Responsible for posting PNL entries through SAP before publishing the final outcome to stakeholders.• Responsible for derivatives reporting every month as per business days. • Swaps MTM reconciliation is prepared each day and is sent to product controllers for submission. • Notional reconciliation is prepared which is the most critical part of submission and requires LOB wise submission.• GL to BASEL processing is prepared each month to balance the balance sheet and P&L books before publishing to clients.• Liaising with settlements team to resolve WAM (Wash Account Management) breaks. • Liaising with traders to resolve settlement queries for faster resolution of internal aged breaks. • Liaising with Equity, IRS and CCS settlements teams on daily basis to resolve final statement breaks affecting Pn’L • Knowledge of trade life cycle. I have worked closely with settlements teams to know how derivative settlements work for IRS, CDS, CCS and to some extent basket swaps settlements. • Spot balance of cash i.e matured cash reconciliation relating to FX is prepared on monthly basisI have also worked in fund accounting , NaV calculation and verification, bloomberg, asset class, reconciliation, financial reporting, PNL dervivative reconciliation, SAP, green belt Alteryx, MTM, trade life cycle overview, cognos, green belt in digital acceleration used fir process automation.
