My approach to editing was excellence driven – I closely supervised every aspect of the printed magazine's production: managing annual and monthly magazine budgets and programs, editing all articles and final proof reading, directing photographers and design editors, choosing every photo jointly with the photographer and co-reviewing the final hard copies with the producer and press house supervisor to get the best quality product.

The job consisted of performing test drives and covering motoring events in the US and Canada (Pikes Peak, SSCC, Bonneville, Daytona 500 etc.) for Auto Magazine, the biggest selling and longest running car magazine in Israel. Since all the photography in US related articles was done by me, I had undergone extensive photography lessons as part of my training for this post.

Some of my achievements as editor of Auto included establishing work connections with manufacturers without representation in Israel, such as Lamborghini, Bugatti, Rolls Royce, Pagani, Aston Martin and many others, and carrying out profile articles, road tests and videos of their models. Since I am most fascinated by low volume sports car makers, we have established a tradition in the magazine of motoring road trips, in which we explored a different country every year and produced a special issue dedicated to that country's motoring culture and unique car manufacturers. Some of the more exclusive features were also published in magazines around the world.
