I am part of a research team at University of Waterloo, focusing on researching on Aptamers as bio sensors for diagnostic purposes. As part of this effort I did research on using AI to create Aptamer sequences that can bind to specific molecules. I was responsible for creating the AI model that can accurately predicts these sequences and for the simulation process on how the aptamer would fold.

I have been associated with team at EcoCulture since October 2022. My work involved collecting the data and managing to help develop Machine Learning models to help with classification techniques. My specific contribution has been streamlining the process, automation and validating the models. The project is focused on helping local communities to scale landscape restoration using analysis of drone imagery. Part of our work from Jan 2024 till May 2024 has been a paid internship as part of a program sponsored by Boeing in Arizona.

Our goal at science is fun is to enhance student interest in and their self-efficacy and abilities associated with science and STEM. We work with local elementary and middle school kids, we arrange visits to those schools and arrange interactive Science education sessions. The sessions typically involve conducting interesting experiments and engage students in enriching discussions.

Over the last 2+ years, I have been volunteering at an after school program for elementary school kids. My role includes mentoring these young kids and help them with their homework. The allowed me to participate in a program that is designed to help innercity kids to have a place after school for free, and also a place where they can get help with their education goals. It was a privilege for me to be part of such noble cause.

I have been a part of cross country team throughout my high school. As part of the team, I got the opportunity to represent my school in several local, city, state and inter-state competitions. It was a great experience working with coaches, learning from my seniors and helping the under classmen.

I was introduced to Piano when I was four years old. Thanks to my teacher Lianna, I am fortunate that after nearly 13 years, I continue to enjoy the instrument and learning new variations. Has been performing on various local forums along with my peers from the music school. I finished level 8 at the Arizona study program for piano, playing songs such as Maple Leaf Rag and grande valse brillante, two of my favorites.

I lead a research assignment to focus on designing an AI based weed detection system for native crops in AZ. I was responsible for the whole project including data collection, drone management, data preparation and AI training. I have submitted this research report as part of my AP research project. Later in the summer I continued my work and decided to expand what I had done for AP research, driving further into improving accuracy by 256% and reducing the amount of data needed by 60%. The findings are submitted for a conference proceedings.

The purpose of the DevOps club is to encourage students to spread awareness about computer science and related fields, and enrich themselves with the latest technology information through club meetings and events. As part of the team, we conduct annual day of code event at our school with more than 100 kids participating.

Our club is part of a larger effort from Northern Arizona University, National Forest Foundation, Eco Culture and Boeing. In this club, we learn about operating Drones. GIS technologies etc. I led a project where we created a 3D web scene of our school. This interactive map was featured on the school website, allowing viewers to explore the school virtually.
