Onsite production support lead - Managed 24x7 centralized global support desk for Global Document Management System (GDMS) applications. My responsibilities in this role included:i. Prioritizing & categorizing the incidents and problems.ii. Support change control and resolve the issues.iii. Infrastructure upgrades and releases reviewsiv. Reporting and managing communications with stakeholders, end users and other technical teams.v. Monitor SLA Performance, preparation of SLA reports/dashboards, OLA with dependent support teams.vi. Surveillance applications in Compliance IT - Development & Support Was involved in full life cycle development including Design, ETL strategy, development, deployment, testing and troubleshooting. Also managed end-to-end infrastructure activities for the Market surveillance group, including helping teams in onboarding (deploying) new applications. Key projects during my stint:1) Project SNOW: EURIBOR/PLIBOR implementation.2) LIBOR Migration3) Project DISCUS: Surveillance of Barclay’s rates submissions, and monitoring those rates in different time intervals with ISDAFIX rates.4) CDS OTC: Extracting CDS OTC trades from the FICC data warehouse called spyglass and transform & load it using Informatica for the new Trade Surveillance model.

SYBASE EXIT - Onsite project lead and coordinatorThis was a strategic program where TCS was selected by Barclays Capital for migrating their applications from Sybase to SQL Server and Oracle. It required extensive planning, technical expertise, change management and stakeholder management to ensure no impact on business.I worked as one of the Technical leads at onsite, and was responsible for 2 main activities of migration - 1) Sybase DBs to SQL Server and, 2) Autosys conversion from version 4.5 to R11.3.The work involved collaborating with my offshore team of engineers and helping Barclays' application team. I was responsible for preparing project plans for each application, doing the impact analysis, and acting as a single point of contact for any technology issues during the migration, stakeholder management and coordination, sign-offs post testing and UAT, deployment and then handing over the application code back to the client.

TCS was selected as a strategic partner to Agricultural Insurance Company (AIC) of India. As part of the initial seed team, I was involved in requirements gathering and analysis with responsibilities of developing the technical specification documents and also work on POCs and prototypes, for AIC's legal process management application system.Completed the FTC Certification in Insurance during this time.

Team member of the Internet Trading System module of TCS BaNCS' flagship Securities Trading & Process product (earlier known as eIBS - electronic Integrated Brokerage System). Was the SPOC managing the development, enhancements and support work of our installations in:- CITIGROUP- ABN Amro India Securities- HDFC Securities- Apollo Sindhuri Capital markets ltd.

Worked as a developer within IT supporting Perl, PHP & Java Technologies. This was my first job and it also exposed me to some Programming Research proprietary products like QA C++/ QAC/ QAJ. Work involved supporting applications with QA, report generation and fixing of issues, and maintaining extensive documentation for future reference.
