First and foremost I am a human centric leader who’s driven by a deep love and passion for people, with empathy being the corner stone of my leadership approach. An entrepreneur and an experienced multidisciplinary C-level executive with exposure in private and public listed blue-chip companies. While being a board director in a few top groups in Sri Lanka I am passionately working towards establishing Sri Lanka's third airline. My passion project has been my involvement with Media Monkey a boutique creative agency that handles both multinational and local brands. This has given me the opportunity to share my diverse experience in developing highly successful campaigns to grow a plethora of brands. I firmly believe that advertising will become very successful when coupled with research and approached holistically. Starting out as a finance executive I grew to become the CFO of the second-largest fixed-line telco operator in Sri Lanka. Subsequently, I evolved to take on full P&L responsibility in more strategic roles. My experience with the public sector at LECO was fulfilling and helped me grow my leadership abilities across many industries.With my engagement in setting up an automobile assembly plant in the UAE from scratch I’ve added to my wealth of experience immense value. Surely the UAE is a land of opportunity and I’m glad to proudly see the growth of a Sri Lankan business and I’m striving to make this an iconic manufacturing plant to make Sri Lanka as a nation proud.
