Hello! I am a California native and new New Yorker, Nix Sharp. It’s a cool name because I chose it! I am a 21 year old artist with a passion in background design and story art. I am currently studying animation as a junior at the School of Visual Arts and the graphics manager for WIA SVA. While being here, I have completed a film with my peers and have expanded my talents into crafting multimedia stories with Photoshop, Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects and Premiere Pro. After being in musical theater for ten years and being a set designer for four, I decided to trade in my tap shoes for a Wacom pen. I have always loved to tell stories and I enjoy the arsenal of imagination that animation can bring. I had grown up with shows like Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends and Sponge Bob and they heavily influence my work. My goal is to create art and television for the next generation of children.
