I have recently completed my BA in Psychology at Hunter College. My previous experience in brand awareness and social media along with management, sales, visual merchandising make me a well rounded candidate for many positions. My time as a bartender has helped me to become adaptable and manage many tasks simultaneously, while ensuring a positive guest experience. In my time at Hillstone restaurants, I have been selected by management to handle the financial bookkeeping and bank deposits for the servers and bartenders. I have also been given the responsibility of leading the shifts, which includes delegating responsibilities to staff members, ensuring the shift runs smoothly, and checking that each employee has completed all of their duties before they are able to leave. I thrive in a fast-paced environment while placing careful attention to detail. I excel in management roles and aim to encourage positive workplace morale. In my time at Steve Madden I maintained a low staff turnover. I was in charge of all aspects of the business. I did all of the visual merchandising for a busy storefront in the fashion forward district of Soho, NY. I was responsible for all hiring and firing of employees. In addition to this, I recruited new staff if needed. We consistently hit, and surpassed daily sales goals. I was in charge of making weekly schedules, working around staff requests and filling shifts if staff members called out. Took weekly conference calls for the District Manager and reported back important information. I helped New York City stylists create looks for magazine shoots and New York Fashion Week. Styled celebrities for performances including, Katy Perry, Danity Kane, and Leona Lewis.
