Census Enumerator

United States Department Of Homeland Security

Prattville, Alabama, United States

Gathering important door-to-door data for the decennial census as a service for my community. Closed over 650 cases in the central Alabama zone that helped inform decisions about allocating hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding to local communities —for hospitals, fire departments, school lunch programs, and other critical programs and services.I identified and corrected an error directly resulting in poor case completion rates within my enumeration zone. Case completion rates improved from 30-40% to 80-90% immediately.
