At the outset joined as Manager, MIS & Research from (Aug 2008 to Jan 2010), then rose to the positions of AVP, Business Intelligence (Jan 2010 to Jun 2012) and VP, Business Intelligence (Since Jun 2012)As a VP, I take part in strategic decision making and influence future direction of the Bank. I also provide financial leadership and aligning business and finance strategy to grow the business. Supervising financial targets and KPI’s of the bank, covering retail and corporate assets growth, liabilities growth, assets quality levels, treasury business, in addition to other non-financial targets related to network expansion and e-channels.Took part in strategic decision making and influence future direction of the Organization, I provided financial leadership and aligned business and finance strategy to grow the business. I also evaluate and approve practices relating to risk related to imbalances in the balance sheet assets and liabilities in term of mismatches and gaps in reprising and maturity profiles. Additionally, I monitor all lines of business and provide recommendations for value creation and profitability enhancement. ✔An active member in creating and managing bank’s business plan and strategic management objectives.✔Implemented policies, procedures and systems and proposed necessary improvements. Assessed the use of resources with regard to economy, efficiency and effectiveness.✔Introduced new Business Intelligence initiatives and online analytical processing (OLAP) projects that are required to successfully manage the banks business.✔Significant member of team accountable to analyse ALM framework in the bank. In this capacity, I monitored financial and business plans for retail banking projects on a regional level, covered portfolio growth, liabilities growth, delinquencies levels, and credit card business targets in addition to other non-financial objectives related to network expansion and e-channels. During my association, I headed new Business Intelligence initiatives and online analytical processing (OLAP) projects needed to successfully manage the retail banking group.I also developed and maintained broad knowledge of company’s’ business and technology requirements and needs. Over the years, I implemented MIS policies to ensure data accuracy and security. To ensure that technology, infrastructure and operational requirements are met, I worked in close coordination with the MIS team. I also designed and monitored data consolidation and aggregation process for all retail banking activities from different area offices and branches.✔Significant contributor in analysing and managing retail banking projects for 7 regions including Jordan, Palestine, UAE., Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt and Yemen. ✔Introduced standardized MIS procedures across all business applications. ✔Successfully developed a sales monitoring tool to help track activities across all countries online.✔Holds merit of providing easy access through digital dashboard and Executive Information Systems (EIS).✔Efficiently managed various projects related to Arab Bank Retail banking business inside and outside Jordan.
