I am committed to working in collaborative environments to address pressing social issues. My aim is holistic, situated evaluation and analysis in search of a more equitable society. I believe that problems are best tackled through thoughtful collaboration that recognizes colleagues' subject-matter expertise and personal strengths, as well as the knowledges of practitioners and communities. I seek opportunities to use my skills for the advancement of social justice and to erode barriers that obstruct socioeconomic mobility. Supporting others in work that matters to them brings me joy. Narratives that situate and contextualize social phenomena are humanizing ways to drive decision-making. My toolbox contains quantitative as well as qualitative social science and policy analysis tools; to me, familiarity with a broad range of research methods and social science theoretical framings is necessary as they serve as heuristics to identify that which is still unknown. I am interested in how we conceive of "social problems," define ourselves vis-a-vis them, and work to solve them. Building collaborative, dynamic, and personable partnerships across stakeholders is part-and-parcel to my work.
