With a small team I led development of a system to replicate the on-site Oracle database to AWS (DMS/Postgres RDS), expose this data with various internal APIs (TypeScript/ECS/APIGW), run tasks using this data (Python/ECS), make decisions and orchestrate flow (Step Functions/Lambda), interact with on-site systems via API, and receive requests and report progress to Zendesk tickets.AnalyticsBW receive data for standby servicing, from disparate sources, in various formats, and had issues analysing it, spotting trends or being alerted to anomalies (other than manual work in Excel). I developed an AWS-based ETL system to ingest this data (S3), transform and derive it into a common schema (Lambda/Glue/Pandas), output it (Athena), send alerts (SQS/SES) and visualise it (QuickSight), allowing BW to prepare and react quicker in the event of primary servicer or originator failure.Call CentreBW ran a small call centre, but did not have a way to view statistics (calls/emails received, wait/abandon time etc) from different sources all in one place.
