I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital innovation and develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy.With a focus on aligning digital transformation with KRCS's overall mission, vision, and strategic goals, I identify and evaluate new digital technologies and tools to enhance the organization's operations, including disaster response and humanitarian aid delivery. I work closely with ICT colleagues, Innovations and Data Team units, and other departments to implement digital solutions and ensure their effective integration into existing systems and processes.My role includes developing and overseeing the execution of digital transformation project plans and timelines, monitoring progress against key performance indicators, and providing training and support to employees and volunteers to help them adapt to new digital tools and technologies. I keep abreast of digital trends and best practices to make recommendations for improvements and ensure compliance with data protection laws in Kenya.In addition to my core responsibilities, I manage the development and implementation of preservation measures to ensure long-term and continuing access to KRCS's accumulated knowledge assets and research outputs. I also develop, implement, and manage processes to keep the IT corporate memory in place at the departure of KRCS's employees and answer any access to information requests.Overall, as a Digital Transformation Officer, I am dedicated to leveraging digital technologies and tools to improve KRCS's operations and impact.
