I lead strategic advocacy and policy initiatives under the TeachWell Voices Project to drive impactful change in education and child protection, especially within refugee and host communities. My role involves coordinating national and county-level advocacy efforts, focusing on children’s holistic skills development and enhanced public investment in education. I work closely with government stakeholders, civil society, and communities to advocate for policy improvements that promote child survival, learning, and protection. The ultimate goal is to influence systemic changes that ensure a safe and supportive environment for every child.

I was accountable and responsible for:•Providing leadership in the design, planning and implementation of the End Violence Against Children Project (Tuwalee Tuwalinde Wasome)•Coordinating the delivery of the Whole School Approach, an evidence based model that empowers learners with value based life skills, teacher capacity development, parent and caregiver training on positive parenting and strengthening child protection structures for violence prevention in schools and within the community•Providing technical input in the design of the Social Norms Behavior Change Intervention for violence prevention •Enhancing strategic partnership and networking with partners, county government, national government line ministries and civil society organizations, and representing the organization in the technical working groups and donor meetings•Ensuring quality assurance in project delivery through collaboration with the MEAL unit to conduct assessment, evaluation, development of evidence briefs to disseminate of best practices, track milestones and prepare detailed implementation plans and reports•Collaborating with the finance unit to manage, track, update and coordinate implementation plans and budget•Carrying out risk assessment, developing and updating implementation plans to ensure alignment with international safeguarding standards
