I architected and delivered a mobile-first telemedicine platform that allowed medical providers to communicate both synchronously and asynchronously with their patients; improving health outcomes for patients and increasing revenue opportunities for providers. I oversaw the development and delivery of all software products and processes, which included the development of a cloud-based retail BI analytics suite, leveraging in-house reporting tools and integrating best of breed BI tools and Big Data technologies. I also selected, implemented and maintained the systems and facilities for processing and delivery of retail data. I was engaged to review and improve consulting practices at Raine Media, the management consulting services division of KP corporation which assists its clients in maximizing what they can do with comprehensive marketing solutions, including printing, fulfillment, direct mail, digital delivery, and applied technologies.Worked closely with the CEO to determine what direction both the consulting division and IT group of the parent company should take.

I was hired as CTO of Loansoft, a mortgage origination software company. After the acquisition by GHR, I managed the transition of Loansoft from an independent team to a fully integrated team within the GHR group and was promoted to SVP of Product Design and Development with responsibility for all of GHR's lending automation products. I then successfully ran an organization with 105 staff and a $14M budget.Enhanced GHR LOS product driving revenue up 70% in 2 years.Directed the development of 5 separate lending automation software products with a total team of 105 software professionals and a budget of $14M .Leveraged the customizable nature of our architecture to build a new consumer loan origination product and bring it to market in six months, on time and under budget and oversaw the introduction of an offshore development partnership.

I co-founded this software consulting company and performed the operational management of the company. I negotiated contracts and implemented projects with clients and sub-contractors. Significant accomplishments included:Designed a code framework that allowed client's developers to more rapidly build applications and to concentrate on utilizing their domain knowledge on delivering business solutions, making projects more cost-effective.

I was a founding engineer for a Healthcare SaaS provider that provides a highly scalable and reliable secure, web-based patient-physician communication. We developed the initial pilot in 4 months, which was instrumental in securing $6M venture funding, and we launched the full site in less than 12 months from inception securing a further $19M in funding.Built this SaaS site to handle massive volumes of patient-physician communication. Scalability, performance, cost/performance and security were critical aspects of the design from day one leading to a scalable robust infrastructure that supported the growth of the business.

I developed and presented proposals for this software product and consulting organization and formalized the functional and technical design phases of the software development lifecycle. In my role, I managed teams of developers for behavioral health, catastrophic care management, dental benefit systems, purchasing and HR projects.
