As a Global Campaigning Expert, I was invited to Judge the Cause Campaign Awards at the 2024 Festival of Media Awards, where I analysed campaigns from leading global brands. I love that impact campaigns are becoming mainstream, and I am always excited to help organisations create campaigns that are both good for society and the bottom line. 2. As strategic communications manager at Shujaaz Inc, I grow our strategic partner ecosystem through strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Shujaaz Inc develops social ventures that break barriers for young people and is home to East Africa's largest youth brand, Shujaaz. Through Shujaaz Inc, I've led campaign and narrative-building workshops at global events like the Food Culture Alliance's Creative Circles Forum and the SkyLights Conference. I've also produced creative digital strategic communications assets like the Young and Kenyan microsite report, the ultimate guide on how young Kenyans feel about money, relationships and their future. 3. Previously, I worked for AWEC, a business-ed program hosted by The Center for Global Enterprise(CGE), a US-based nonprofit funded by the Rockefeller Foundation and Goldman Sachs Foundation. I worked on program communications across Africa using strategic creative tactics for engaging the students and alumni community. I was key in developing partner communication assets that attracted potential funders and collaborators. I also helped establish digital community engagement strategies for crowdfunding and attracting high-quality applicants from all over Africa to the program.
