As a workshop supervisor i am responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of themechanical workshop. Fixings and fastenings and machine tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop. Daily attendance and records have to be kept alongside individualrecords of what work is carried out and on which projects.

Assist with implementing and maintaining an effective quality management system and acts as interface between the customer and various departments throughout the facilities in order to meet customer specific requirements. He/she will also be the focal point in implementing continuous improvement program and support QA/QC functions• Support the ISO/API and Client Quality Management System.• Follow all Client safety rules and requirements• Work closely with QC receiving inspection and purchasing group. Manage and improve supplier quality; review, implement, and improve receiving inspection dock to stock program.• Assist QC technician in NCR follow up.• Work closely with manufacturing, identify opportunity for improvement and follow up on CPAR to reduce scrap and process variation.• Initiate or participate in investigations into root causes or potential causes of failure.• Follow up on supplier CAR; audit key suppliers as necessary.• Assist QA in internal audit.• Work closely with product engineering and manufacturing on the introduction of new product.• Relate with all departments internally and externally as necessary to maintain and enhance the Company's reputation for Quality.• Increase the Quality awareness of all employees and insure that all subcontractors and suppliers are aware of our requirements.• Know and understand Client's Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Client.• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.• Assist verification of QAQC procedure• Promote the use of developed QAQC job preparation procedures and processes• Assist with familiarization of the ISO 9001 standards and requirements
