With my role as a Blockchain Instructor at Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno, I’ve had the privilege of introducing the intricacies of blockchain to a new generation of learners. Beyond the classroom, I've taken pride in my role as a hands-on consultant at Sagebrush Consulting LLC, focusing on the potential of the Hyperledger framework within the blockchain ecosystem.However, my passion isn’t confined to just teaching and consulting. Recognizing the need for robust governance structures in the blockchain realm, I've actively contributed as a policy writer. A notable accomplishment of mine is crafting a policy that fundamentally changed how Nevada approaches cryptocurrency campaign donations. My engagement ensured that the legislation not only embraced the innovations of blockchain technology but also upheld stringent standards of transparency and regulatory compliance.In addition to my policy work, I'm a steadfast advocate for self-sovereign identity, believing in a future where individuals have complete autonomy over their digital identities. Being an integral part of the Web3 ID coalition, I'm at the forefront of reshaping digital identity paradigms for a decentralized era.Beyond these roles, my commitment to fostering a vibrant tech community in Reno is evident. I've initiated, led, and contributed to numerous tech-centric meetups, spanning Blockchain, Tech Alley, and Decentralized Government.
