I oversaw the following Functions:1. Payment and Bank Operations• Supporting day to day payments operations with our cross-border clients (Transfer initiation and Approvals)Last mile payment approvals of all Finance and top management operational payments including Petty cash, Account Payables, Card expenses, Invoices, Tax, and Payroll transfers.• Tracing all pending inter-bank or payment partner’s transfers and recording them accordingly.• Maintenance of records/documentation of payments reports.• Working closely with the banking expansion team to improve on the channels that aid our operations, supporting banking operations, including managing bank account opening and closing processes.2. Reconciliation• Supporting the Accounting team in month and quarter end close activities• Parsing all bank entries to SAP and the accounting system• Inputting and maintaining data in Treasury express.• Using MS Excel to reconcile operational bank accounts that had close to 10 thousand daily entries –For example we had accounts that were used for last mile payments which had 100,000 plus transactions per month. With this I used advanced excel functions like V-Lookup, Count IF, Sum If and Time Functions• Performing over the counter (OTC) reconciliation against bank statements daily.• Getting Daily downloaded of bank balances from bank portals and inputting them in Treasury Express.• Working closely with the accounting department to resolve reconciliation issues.• Daily reconciliation of all Float bank account and payment partner balances.• Preparation of monthly cashflow statements3. Trading• Performing FX Backoffice operations: trade matching, provide trade settlement instructions, hedging support, daily mark-to-market of collateral accounts for margin call.• Covering other aspects of FX Ops like second check, trade setups and hedging procedures.• Daily FX Rate Setting of other settlement currencies.er balances.
