Ø  Responsible for full site health and safety together with environmental compliance across all areas.Ø   Liaising with staff on all levels including external bodies and contractors.Ø  Assist the Safety Manager in the development of HSE Plan, Emergency Evacuation Plan in accordance with UAE Legal Requirement .Ø  Develop and Implement proactive measures such as HSE Inspection, Training, Audit, identify the trend to reduce work related incident and illness.Ø   Provide advice to Construction Team  to ensure that they  aware of and complies with all legislation in relation to the use of its plant and equipment as well as workplace activities and the Project team meets it’s statutory and industry obligations in respect to Industrial and safety matters.Ø  Coordinate with Technical Department for the development/review of  OHS Risk Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment and other technical safety documents.Ø   Prepare Monthly report, Monthly HSE Presentation which include Key Performance Indicator(KPI),Pro-active and Reactive HSE System to be submitted to HSE Manager.Ø  Carry-out Incident/Accident Investigation to identify the root cause and prevent recurrence of accident.Ø  Conduct HSE Induction to all Staff, visitor , member of the public before we allow them to enter the site. Ø  Carry out internal training to workforce as per training matrix.Ø  Conduct Emergency drill as per Emergency Drill Matrix. Ø  Assist Safety Manager in the preparation of HSE related document.

Ø  Issued permits to work to contractors on site, hence ensuring all safety standards are met before work commenced.Ø  Wrote reports such as incident reports, accidents be it minor or major, patrolling reports etc. hence avoiding cases of near miss and taking account of all details.Ø   Carried out TBT  to create a safety awareness in the minds of works hence insuring a safe work place.Ø  Worked closely with management in formulating, reviewing and implementation of safety policies in accordance to legal standards.Ø  Carried out accident investigations, near miss investigations and putting putting policies in place to ensure further accidents do not occur.Ø  Carried out regular supervision to ensure all safety measures are adhered to.

·       Assist the Project Manager in the general supervision and implementation of HSE Plan.·       Promote a high level of safety awareness on the Project through new employee’s orientation and in-house training.·       Implementation of Permit to Works system during testing, commissioning and operation. ·        Maintain all safety related records and files associated with the project. · Assist the Safety Manager in accident /incident investigation to ensure that all accidents and incidents are properly investigated including near miss incident, first aid cases, all recordable cases, chemical spillage incident, property damages, etc·       Continuously evaluate Project working conditions and safety work practices, and if warranted, developing positive recommendation for Project Management.·       Monitor the Behaviour of the workers and provide coaching to change the attitude and behaviour positively towards safely and instils “think before acting” and “value of human life”. ·       Review the works schedule as they are planned to be aware of the number of workers working in various area: anticipate hazards and implements supporting safety activities.
