Nathan is a creative Landscape Architect with over 20 years of experience in the landscape and construction realm. As the grandson of a NE Montana tree farmer and son of an Eastern Washington general contractor, Nathan’s roots run deep in the Northwest. As a professional he has a demonstrated history in the architecture and planning industry. He has practiced in international and domestic locations with primary focus along the West Coast and Pacific Northwest of the United States. His experience is within public and private realms which include market sectors such as Higher Education, Civic, Parks & Open spaces, Planning and Urban design. His intuitive design approach is balanced by a strong technical knowledge and collaborative process. He continuously strives to enhance human experience through exploration of materiality, scale and creating a sense of place.Through the leadership of his wife, Dana, Nathan owns and operates Ponderay Garden Center located in the beautiful city of Ponderay and neighbor to Sandpoint, Idaho. With over a decade of service within the local community, Ponderay Garden Center continues to offer landscape supplies, natural stone, plant materials and superior landscape resources to the amazing home owners and contractors of Bonner County and surrounding mountainous areas.
