I also offer guidance and support to the pupils and their parents/guardians and produce weekly Careers Bulletins with any university or further education events, lectures, Open Days and Webinars taking place. I have built strong working relationships with the Student Outreach Teams at UK Universities which is very helpful when I am organising our annual Careers Fair. Youthwise was funded by Social Services as a project to try to prevent young people from ending up in care or in court by supporting them through one to one work, group work and trips away. My role was to work with the youngsters individually as well as recruiting and organising a team of volunteers to help run weekly group work sessions for them.
