I have a particular interest in intellectual property law and competition law. I mainly run a general commercial practice, and also do constitutional and administrative law matters. I have appeared in the Supreme Court of Appeal as a junior, the High Courts, the Labour Court, the CCMA and the Magistrate’s Courts. I have had the privilege of doing interesting constitutional matters, which include an application on the question of the constitutionality of the provisions of section 7(1) of the Recognition of Customary Marriages Act in the case of Ramuhovhi and Others v President of the Republic of South Africa and Others [2017] ZACC 41 which outcome has had a major impact in the lives of women in south Africa.
