o Monitoring electrical and instrument equipment supplied by Contractors to verify if it meets project specifications. o Ensure that quality control is carried out during the installation phase for the following items: Cables and cable glands, Cable trays, Batteries and chargers, Communication systems, Switch gear, Motor control center, Fire panels, Equipment and facilities tagging, Tubing and fittings, Supports and brackets. o Supervise and witness Insulation resistance tests and Continuity checks for all cables.o Ensure correct inventory and proper inspection records are maintained by the contractor. o Participate in the resolution of quality problems as directed. o Create, develop and update of QA/QC commissioning and construction support systems and standards.o Conduct Factory & Site acceptance testing on electrical equipmento Review of Data Packs, check sheets and Method Statements.o Determining the minimal requirements and procedures needed for a process to pass a QA inspection.o Carrying out final QA inspections.o Ensuring that adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance.o Ensuring the correct and proper use of Quality Control measuring equipment and tools.
