Thanks to the swift progress of my Bachelor of Technology in Economic Management Analysis at the Tshwane University of Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Economics at the University of Johannesburg. It is glaring that studying and doing research are endeavors I would like to engage in even more. I am a Masters student at the University of Johannesburg for the Masters of Commerce in Developmental Economics programme for 2022 to 2023, so that I can be able to further my studies in the field of Economics.I am certain to push through with the dedication I have always worked with to accomplish my goals and gain more knowledge and insight in the field of Economics. I developed an intense interest in social science and research from my experience working at the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) Industrial Policy Unit: Research Directorate as an intern. I was able to perform economic research under the guidance of my line manager, and provided research input and data analysis to the unit’s research staff. I have some level of experience when it comes to activities of trade and industrial policy, sustainable development, inequality and economic inclusion in South African given my experience of working for the Industrial Policy Unit of the dtic in collaboration with some TIPS employees regarding the Import- and Export Tracker Reports.
