As a self-employed professional in the UK, I run two businesses: Long Valley Therapy and Long Valley Therapy Training.At Long Valley Therapy, I provide personal therapy and clinical supervision, drawing on over a decade of experience in the field. My approach is rooted in creating deep, empathetic connections with clients, supported by my academic background, including a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice. I specialise in helping individuals navigate personal challenges, offering a safe space for growth. I have a particular interest in supporting late-identified neurodivergent clients as they navigate their experiences.As a senior accredited therapist, I have achieved the highest level of accreditation with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). This accreditation reflects my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice and ongoing professional development. Additionally, I have been confirmed as Column C on the SCoPEd Framework, which recognises my advanced skills, knowledge, and experience in the field of counselling and psychotherapy.Through Long Valley Therapy Training, I channel my passion for education by offering courses designed to equip future therapists with the necessary skills and theoretical knowledge to thrive in the sector. My strengths lie in translating complex therapeutic concepts into accessible learning experiences, ensuring that trainees are well-prepared for their professional journeys.My dual role as a therapist and educator allows me to blend practical experience with teaching, fostering a holistic approach to both therapy and training. My success in this role has seen a Diploma course of my own design, fully accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
