    As N&ST's resource manager, I'm responsible for ensuring our consultants are in the right place at the right time, working on the right project. Even with a multitude of high priority projects, N&ST prides itself on being responsive to our clients' needs. My role includes talking to prospective clients about N&ST's capabilities, proposal development, project kick-off, deliverable review, invoicing and follow-up.In addition to managing N&ST's delivery efforts, I've done extensive consulting for electric power companies on cyber security and compliance. As a consultant, I have helped utilities develop sustainable approaches to NERC CIP compliance, especially CIP-002-3, CIP-005-3 and CIP-007-3. Primary activities have included identification of Critical Assets and Critical Cyber Assets, establishment of Electronic Security Perimeters, development of remediation plans, execution of remediation activities, RSAW preparation, compliance assessment, mock auditing, and audit representation. Specific projects have included:(1) Network re-design and implementation to support sustainable NERC CIP compliance.(2) Helping utilities develop and maintain NERC CIP compliance program for power plants identified as Critical Assets under Version 3 of the NERC CIP standards.(3) Leading and participating in Cyber Vulnerability Assessments conducted by N&ST for compliance with CIP-005-3 and CIP-007-3, including Cyber Vulnerability Assessments focused on transmission substations.(4) Preparing for compliance with NERC CIP Version 5.Throughout all of these projects, I have regularly created innovative and clever solutions to both improve cyber security and better demonstrate compliance.
