As the sole hardware electrical engineer, I experienced a successive increase of responsibility which took me from an entry level position to a team leader and driving force of innovation. Based on the sales team's market research, I helped design new products to meet current and future customer needs and allowed the company to enter into previously untapped markets. I also improved accuracy and functionality of existing products in order to distinguish the company in a competitive marketplace. As a team leader, I successfully trained new employees in relevant skills which allowed increased development efficiency as the engineering department expanded. Additionally, I was in charge of transitioning the company from an ad hoc MRP system to a purpose built dynamic info system designed to propel the company into the next phase of development.
