In addition to representing clients throughout the United States in state and federal courts, I also make presentations to professional and business groups on a variety of topics, including corporate disputes, expert witness testimony, legal ethics and alternative dispute resolution.Recently, I successfully defended a former corporate officer in an emergency injunction hearing involving non-solicitation and trade secret issues, successfully defended a company against claims for phantom stock rights brought by a former employee, amicably resolved claims brought by a governmental agency against a telemarketing firm for violation of state regulations, negotiated a settlement in a RICO and fraud suit against an insurance company on behalf of a group of insureds, and obtained summary judgment in an international arbitration in favor of a life settlement provider against a German investment fund.
