I am an experienced transactional lawyer; to date, I have consummated over 100 transactions valued at over $1B across 9 states and 8 countries in multiple industries, including professional services, manufacturing, distribution, franchising, and software and other licensing. I have counseled C-suite officers and company boards in matters ranging from strategic planning, risk management and governance issues to regulatory and other compliance - developing corporate policies, procedures and programs to address issues related to everyday operations, while advising on complex transactions that facilitate growth. I am currently a partner at Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC. I previously served as the General Counsel at Anchin Block & Anchin, a nationally ranked accounting firm. As General Counsel, I was responsible for negotiating all agreements and providing advice on all legal matters. Before joining Anchin, I represented Marcum LLP in connection with strategic acquisitions, increasing firm revenue and expanding to new geographies, while having day-to-day responsibilities involving ordinary course issues and agreements for Marcum LLP (the 15th largest accounting firm in the US), such as engagement letters, master service agreements and other client-facing agreements, and litigation and HR-related matters. I also provided services to Marcum LLP subsidiaries, such as Marcum Technology (an integrated solutions vendor specializing in data protection, disaster recovery, network infrastructure and managed services) and Marcum Financial Services (a full-service financial services firm). I was a member of the Long Island Regional Board of the American Heart Association until 2018; in 2012 and 2013, I served as Chairperson of, and currently serve on the Committee for, the American Heart Association's Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon, the largest charity luncheon on Long Island with approximately 1000 attendees, which raises funds to educate people regarding women's risk of heart disease. I was a member of the Board of Trustees of Temple Sinai of Roslyn, serving as Co-Chair of each of the Religious Affairs and Ushering Committee from 2012-2016, and as Chair of the Dues Alternatives Task Force from 2015-2016. I was a member of the Board of Moxxie Mentoring Foundation from 2014-2015 and served as Chair for the Foundation's 3rd Annual Emerald Summit in 2014.
