As a consultant and coach, I help leaders, teams, and organizations fully express themselves and be of service in the world. Most recently I worked as a consultant in Deloitte’s Human Capital practice, where I specialized in leadership development and organization design. I am now in the process of starting my own leadership coaching practice with a focus on 360-degree feedback and stakeholder-centered coaching.Core to my work is the belief that both vision and execution are needed to bring any human endeavor to good result. To create both a compelling vision and the ability to realize it requires an ongoing commitment to learning–about oneself, others, and the world at large. To be of service in this learning process, in any way, is what I consider my work.I didn’t always do this work. I stumbled into it as a hapless project manager tackling major public policy issues, including criminal justice reform, addiction, and homelessness. Time and time again, I saw firsthand how critical strong leadership and effective organizations are to meeting the complex challenges of the 21st century. This experience led me to pivot out of the field of public policy so I could help others become better leaders and build more effective organizations, no matter the cause.I have a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Occidental College. In addition, I am a Certified Mindfulness Teacher by the Mindfulness Training Institute. Currently, I am pursuing my Professional Certified Coach credential through Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching.By night, I flex a different set of muscles as a DJ for ecstatic dance events, yoga classes, and the occasional house party.
